This Christmas I found a good deal on Prime Rib so I decided to give it a try. Since this was the first time ever making this, I checked out quite a few recipes and this by far was the easiest recipe and I had all the ingredients on hand.

My son and husband were very impressed. The meat was sooooo flavorful and juicy.

Thank you for sharing, this is going into my Holiday cookbook for sure!

I’m afraid the rpoast will taste charred.

Comment on New York Strip Steak vs. Ribeye Steak: What’s the Difference by Dave Osborn https://www.clovermeadowsbeef.com/new-york-strip-steak-vs-ribeye-steak-whats-the-difference/#comment-10034 Tue, 29 Oct 2024 17:05:42 +0000 https://www.clovermeadowsbeef.com/?p=9655#comment-10034 Thank you so much for sharing all the information that you do. My wife and I raise and process 4 steers every couple of years. Two are split between us and our 3 daughters and two are sold as shares. When I get questions from folks who are interested but have never purchased beef from the farm I send them to your site. It explains everything and helps us prevent some common misunderstandings.

I’m making a version of these today using your instructions. Mine are:

10 Eggs
3 Mini Bell Peppers (various colors)
1/2 White Onion
1/2 Cup Crumbled Goat Cheese
1 Pound Ground Turkey Sausage

Result = Delicious! Wife and both 8yr/11yr Daughters absolutely love them!

Thank you for motivating me to make these!

This is the most flavorful and easiest bone broth recipe, thanks so much! I freeze my broth into cubes to be able to use as much as I need when I need it.

Thanks for the feedback and for following our site. We typically don’t brine our beef. We like the results of the more traditional approach of salting steak with kosher salt.

I have been following about 2 years. Two questions.
Do you ever brine your meat?
Do you ever use a Jaccard for tenderizing?

Thank you and keep the wonderful content coming 🙂

Comment on What is Grain Finished Beef? by Don https://www.clovermeadowsbeef.com/what-is-grain-finished-beef/#comment-8550 Wed, 29 Nov 2023 17:17:32 +0000 https://www.clovermeadowsbeef.com/?p=5092#comment-8550 You mentioned omega 3 fatty acids but not omega 6. Grain finished beef has a higher ratio of 6 to 3. We need both, but the optimal ratio is in grass fed/finished beef. A high 6 to 3 ratio is more inflammatory and therefore has a higher association with atherosclerosis, insulin resistance, cancer, and many other inflammatory diseases.
